Lead:

The last few verses of today's reading demonstrate why "gender neutral" Bibles are a misrepresentation of God's communication to us.

Intro:

One of the things that Gospel writers often do — and Paul in particular — is point out things in the Old Testament that Jesus helped us understand more fully. It doesn’t mean that the meaning changed — in fact, it’s important to point out that the meaning doesn’t change…because if the Bible is God’s word, then that would mean that God changed, and He wouldn’t be perfect if He exhibited change. I just share this because the bit of Galatians that we’ll read today includes Paul laying out arguments from Genesis, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and Habakkuk!

Anyway, welcome to Monday! Let’s get to it.
