Buried nuggets in the middle of Old Testament weirdness? Today’s the day!

Intro:

Happy Monday!

As we ride along with Israel, remember that we’re still parked in a spot that has a lot of lawgiving, so that’s your fair warning. Today we’ll here about a census of male Levites, then mature Levites, then cleansing the camp. It’s a model of how serious God takes holiness and worship, even if we don’t catch it all. AND…it’s always good to be asking what it means New Covenant believers to be setting our lives apart as holy and dedicated to the Lord.

That said, today and tomorrow wrap up Hebrews, so I hope you hang for Hebrews 12 today…good stuff coming up. But since we’ve got a lot to get through, I’ll save some comments until the end.
