Focus:

How do you “keep the faith?”

Intro:

Imagine that you know you are nearing the end of your life. Your BFF is a long ways away, and you write what you know might be your last letter. What would you say?

Well, I know what I’d want to say: I love you, I’ll never give up on you, so don’t you ever give up.

And while Paul didn’t use exactly those words, his second letter to Timothy has that kind of heart. I fact, it’s the last thing Paul wrote.

Today’s focus question, “How do you ‘keep the faith?,’” really fits the whole of the letter, and he’ll get right to that question in what we read today. Listen for Paul’s propositional exhortations…do this, and this, and this, too.
